What documents will I need to provide?

With RateJab’s doc-less mortgage process, you may not even need to provide any supporting documents. As our customer, you give us permission to retrieve those documents for you, making the process smooth and easy.

How can I ensure my loan closes on time?

It is imperative that you do not open any new lines of credit or have your credit checked between the date of application and the date of closing. Any time you do open a new line of credit or get your credit checked, it requires the lender to obtain a credit supplement, which can delay your closing by up to a week. During this time, you will also want to avoid any job or marital status changes.

My credit is very low, is there any hope for me to qualify for a mortgage?

 Most lenders will require at least a 620 credit score, however since RateJab works with a broad variety of wholesale lenders, we can obtain mortgages for borrowers with a credit score as low as 500. If you call today, we can perform a credit check for you and see where you stand.

What interest rate can you offer?

 The interest rate we can offer depends on several factors, such as your credit score and the property type. However, since we are a broker and we complete the process in house, we can offer the most competitive rates on the market. We don’t have a massive infrastructure to support like big banks, so we can work on smaller margins. This translates to more savings for the borrower.
